Refund policy

How we stand behind the work
We do not give refunds, for any reason, on any plan. Your money pays for work, so when we fall short we do more work, not less: billing pauses and we keep working until the promise is met. That is the only remedy we offer, and it is on purpose.
What we do when something goes wrong
- The Done-For-You Guarantee. Everything on your signed checklist gets done. Your checklist is built from your scope. If less than 70% of it is done by day 30, or by the end of any month, you stop paying until it is, and we keep working. Above 70%, we finish the rest at no extra charge.
- The One Less Hat Guarantee. By day 90, every hat your roadmap hands to us is off your head, including your software running your business on the 12-month term. If one isn't, you stop paying until it is.
- The Right-Person Guarantee. Don't click with a specialist? Tell us and we swap them within 5 business days. No charge, no limit, no reason needed.
- If something else has gone wrong, contact us before anything. We would rather fix the problem than argue about it.
How a billing pause works
While billing is paused, nothing is charged for those days, and nothing paused is charged later. If you already paid for the paused days, they come off your next bills. If there are no more bills to take them off, we add the same number of days of service at no charge.
What is not refunded
- Fees for service periods that have been delivered or made available.
- Build and development work already performed under your agreement.
- Your deposit, if you withdraw before your start date. It holds a start date we turn away other businesses for. You can ask once to move to a later start date, and your deposit moves with you; if you then withdraw before the new date, it is kept.
- The discovery call fee, once the call has taken place.
If we cannot start you
If we cannot start you on the start date we agreed, your deposit comes back to you in full, or, if you prefer, we apply it to a later start date.
Where this policy comes from
This page summarizes the remedies in our Terms of Service. Your signed agreement is the governing document: if it differs from this page, the agreement controls. Nothing on this page takes away a right you have under a law that cannot be waived.
