Where it sticks

Each chair is its own small book of regulars, walk-ins sit beside booked appointments, and a long colour service can block a chair for hours. We build the schedule, the walk-in routine and the records around that.

  • Operations: Each person's hours, chair and regulars live in the owner's head or one spreadsheet, and walk-ins collide with booked clients.

  • Sales: Enquiries arrive by phone, social message, listing and booking link, and nobody can see which person has gaps next week.

  • Automation: Retail sales and the day's takings are typed into the books after closing.

What we build

  1. Operations:

We map every person's hours and chair into one schedule, write a walk-in routine for your team (who takes a walk-in, and when a booked client comes first) and train the team on it. You stop answering for every chair. Your live checklist shows each written routine as done, and the schedule has been tested on a real week.

  2. Sales:

We build one inbox for the website form, social messages and your Google listing, plus a view of open slots for each person. We train your front desk to book, and the booking conversation stays with them. A test enquiry from each source shows up in the CRM.

  3. Automation:

Card and retail sales flow into your books (Square, Stripe, QuickBooks or Xero, as you use them), and we fix the automations we build when they break. You stop retyping them. Each automation is listed on your checklist.

First 30 days

A salon's checklist opens with six items, and each carries a test for "done".

  1. Week one: logins for the salon booking app, calendar, payments, listing, social pages and books.

  2. Your CRM set up by day 10, with a structure for clients, visits and bookings.

  3. A build plan mapped by day 10, covering walk-in handling and retail, that you approve within 3 business days.

  4. Walk-in routine and opening and closing routines written for your team.

  5. Enquiries from the form, social messages and your listing arriving in one inbox.

  6. A first month of posts planned for your approval.

Tools and rules

Tools we connect: Google Calendar and Calendly for your calendar, Square and Stripe for card payments, QuickBooks and Xero for the books, Shopify if you sell retail online, and Google Business Profile and Facebook for your listing and page.

A salon's software falls into a few families: booking with point of sale, general scheduling and the books.

Tool names belong to their owners. Susanoo is not affiliated with them.

Provincial rules apply.

FAQs

Can it handle a walk-in line beside booked clients?

We write the walk-in rule with you and build the schedule around it.

Can each stylist see their own open slots?

Yes. There is one view of open slots for each person, set in the build plan by day 10.

Can a long colour service block only that chair?

Yes. Each service has its own length and each chair its own row, so a half-day service holds one chair and leaves the others open.

Can it track the products we sell off the shelf?

A product sale goes through your payment tool into your books once, and anything your tools lack for stock goes into the build plan.

We cut and colour all week. Who has to learn the system?

Your front desk and each stylist are trained on the parts they touch, and the checklist records who has logged in.
